HealthPartners
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, statistics compiled in 2010 show that one-third of children and adolescents were overweight or obese. Because life-long habits, especially eating habits begin in childhood, Health Partners launched the yumPower campaign in an effort to get kids to eat five servings of fruits and vegetables per day.
As part of this initiative, HealthPartners provided elementary schools with lesson plans and other resources to help children learn more about the wide variety and benefits of fruits and vegetables. Alloy created fun activity sheets to support this program, including developing each concept, writing the content and illustrating the characters and other elements.
